Hood Sweeney’s history is similar to other successful South Australian entrepreneurial businesses.
We started out as an accounting firm in 1976 as PJ Hood & Co with one client growing to 200 clients in just over a decade. Within the same period, Graham Sweeney joined bringing with him a number of new clients and a name change for the firm.
Over the next two decades, Hood Sweeney continuously evolved with the appointment of new partners and the growth of new services such as financial planning (2001), technology (2004) and finance (2005).
Today Hood Sweeney is 90 people strong, a board of six with an independent chairman and offices in South Terrace, Adelaide (head office), Whyalla and Kadina (satellite).
